Project Management for Development Professionals (PMD Pro)


Project Management for Development Professionals (Project Dpro), formerly reffered to as PMD Pro, is a globally recognized project management certification for development and humanitarian professionals.

Project DPro is aligned with existing internationally recognized project management standards like PRINCE2 and PMP.

The training is specifically tailored to meet the needs and realities of the development and humanitarian sector projects. It covers basic project management concepts, techniques, tools, and terms specific to NGOs and the development sector.

Project Dpro is well suited for project teams and development workers who intend to pursue professional certification in the field of project management specific to the development/humanitarian sector; Project support staff in NGOs and humanitarian organizations (Logistics, Admin, Finance, Procurement, Human Resources, etc.), experienced program managers who wish to refresh, update and enhance their skills, consultants in the development sector and development stakeholders or anyone involved in changing the world through projects.

The certification was developed by APMG-international a UK based global professional examination and accreditation body, in partnership with Project Management for NGOs (PM4NGOs), an organization dedicated to optimizing international project investments and improving project management skills in the development and humanitarian sectors.

About the Instructor

Theophilus Emmanuel  have applied this essential strategy of seeing the big picture in professional experience for over eight (8) years.
Track records include but not limited to, successfully managed medium and large scale projects within programs; set-up a grants management system and managed grants of over 500 Million Naira from initiation to close-out working with more than 40 implementing partners; planned and coordinated the implementation of a High-Level Multi-Stakeholder Forum, bringing together over 200 stakeholders comprising of the beneficiaries, gatekeepers at the community level, representatives of government and non-governmental agencies, implementing partners and networks of NGOs.
His core competency includes Project and Programme Management, Result-Based Monitoring and Evaluation, Fund Management and Strategic Partnerships.
